                               RESOLUTION NO. 19228
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION TO
                   CONTRACT WITH RICK POTTER AT A COST NOT TO
                   EXCEED TWELVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($12,000.00) TO SUPERVISE AND OVERSEE THE
                   WORK ON THE BRAINERD GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE,
                   AND DIRECTING THE CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO
                   RESERVE FOR FIVE (5) MONTHS A SUM OF FORTY
                   THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($40,000.00) IN
                   THE CONTINGENCY FUND TO COVER THE REMAINING
                   COSTS FOR THE RENOVATION OF SAID CLUBHOUSE.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department
       of Parks and Recreation be and is hereby authorized to contract
       with Rick Potter at a cost not to exceed $12,000.00 to supervise
       and oversee the work on the Brainerd Golf Course Clubhouse;
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Finance Officer be
       and is hereby directed to reserve for 5 months a sum of 
$40,000.00
       in the Contingency Fund to cover the remaining costs for the
       renovation of said Clubhouse.
